de un Jazmín / Triptych of a Jasmine
by Silvina Ocampo. This extremely delicate edition belongs
to the El Mato collection. Again, in the colophon, reference
is made to Veroni’s childhood in the Northwest of Argentina:
“Many years ago, the agile body of a boy outdid the
slenderness and flexibility of a tree from the jungles of
Tucumán, and he bit its fruit: the mato. It is from
here that the title of this collection, dedicated to Argentine
poets, derives.” Edition of 29 printed in the studios
of Francisco Colombo: 2 in Japanese paper; 8 in Whatman; 6
in Fabriano Magnani and 13 in Ingres. Raoul Veroni was responsible
for all the typographic composition, the assembly, the printing
and the illustration. Little by little he was paving the way
to opening his own studio in Senillosa [Street] in the neighbourhood
of Caballito. The book contains 2 lithographs and one small

Jazmín de Silvina Ocampo. Una muy delicada
edición perteneciente a la colección “El
Mato”. Nuevamente desde el colofón se hace
referencia a la infancia de Veroni en el Noroeste argentino:
“Hace muchos años, el cuerpo ágil de
un muchacho pudo más que la esbeltez y flexibilidad
de un árbol de la selva tucumana, y mordió
su fruto; el mato. De allí el título de esta
colección dedicada a poetas argentinos”. Se
imprimieron 29 ejemplares en los talleres de Francisco Colombo:
2 en papel Japón; 8 en Whatman; 6 en Fabriano Magnani
y 13 en Ingres. Raoul Veroni se ocupó de la composición
tipográfica, del armado, de la impresión y
las ilustraciones. Poco a poco va preparando el camino para
abrir su propio estudio gráfico en la calle Senillosa
del barrio de Caballito. El libro cuenta con dos litografías
