Aires. The book contains the complete series
of 22 digital photographs inkjet-printed onto 167gsm Epson
Matte Paper. Presented in the style of a postcard portfolio,
the pages are contained in a folded page that slips inside
a cover case (inspired by the Sugus sweets box). To create
this work Ral Veroni used the strategy of the ‘flaneur’:
long walks around the city, with no predetermined destination,
photographing and taking notes on the architecture particular
to the city and its neighbourhoods. The introduction of emblematic
figures representing Time, Destiny and Fear – to name
but a few – creates a subtle game of metaphors. Bilingual
Spanish-English edition of 50. Contains a brief introductory
text and an index pages that unfolds in 3 sections to total
size of 16.5 x 39cm. Realized in the small studio in Saint
George’s Road, Glasgow, UK, 2002. 17 x 13.5cm. 52 pages.

El libro contiene la serie completa de 22 fotografías
digitales impresas en inkjet sobre papel Epson Matte de
167 gr. Encuadernado a modo de portfolio de postales, las
páginas son contenidas por una carpeta de solapas
que se desliza dentro de la caja que hace de cubierta (inspirada
en la caja de caramelos Sugus). Para realizar este trabajo
Ral Veroni utilizó la estrategia del flaneur: largas
caminatas alrededor de la ciudad sin un rumbo predeterminado,
fotografiando y tomando apuntes de la particular arquitectura
de la ciudad y sus barrios. La introducción de figuras
emblemáticas que representan al tiempo, al destino
y al miedo, por nombrar solo algunos caracteres, crea un
sutíl juego de metáforas. Edición bilingüe
español-inglés de 50 ejemplares. Con breve
texto de introducción y la página del índice
desplegable en tres partes (medida total 16.5 x 39 cm).
